Direct Helpers provides an online marketplace that enables employers and domestic helpers to discover opportunities, view relevant profiles or listings and connect with each other.
Direct Helpers provides the platform for users to connect. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Direct Helpers does not guarantee that any user, helper, employer, profile, job listing or employment opportunity will be suitable for another user.
User Accounts
You may need to create an account to access certain features of Direct Helpers.
You are responsible for providing accurate information, keeping your account details up to date and maintaining the security of your account.
You must not allow another person to misuse your account or use Direct Helpers for unlawful, fraudulent or misleading purposes.
Employer Responsibilities
Employers are responsible for assessing helpers, verifying relevant information and determining whether a helper is suitable for their household and employment requirements.
Employers are also responsible for ensuring that any hiring, employment, work permit, contractual or related arrangements comply with applicable Singapore laws and requirements.
Helper Responsibilities
Helpers are responsible for ensuring that information provided in their profiles and applications is accurate and not misleading.
Helpers are responsible for assessing employment opportunities and employers before entering into any employment arrangement.
Profiles and Job Listings
Users must provide accurate and appropriate information when creating profiles, job listings or other content on Direct Helpers.
You must not publish false, misleading, discriminatory, abusive, unlawful or inappropriate content.
Direct Helpers reserves the right to remove or restrict content or accounts that violate these Terms or may create risks for the platform or its users.
Communication Between Users
Direct Helpers may provide tools that allow employers and helpers to communicate.
Users are responsible for their own communications and interactions with other users. Exercise appropriate care before sharing personal information or entering into an arrangement with another person.
Fees and Subscriptions
Certain Direct Helpers features or services may require payment or a subscription.
Where applicable, prices, subscription periods and relevant conditions will be displayed before purchase.
Additional payment, cancellation or subscription conditions may apply depending on the service selected.
No Guarantee of Employment or Hiring
Direct Helpers does not guarantee that a helper will receive employment or that an employer will successfully hire a helper through the platform.
Search results, profiles, listings and recommendations should not be considered a guarantee of suitability, availability or outcome.
Prohibited Use
You must not use Direct Helpers to:
- Provide false or misleading information.
- Impersonate another person.
- Engage in fraud, scams or unlawful activity.
- Harass, threaten or abuse another user.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website or another user’s account.
- Scrape, copy or misuse platform data without permission.
- Upload malicious software or interfere with the operation or security of the website.
Third-Party Services
Direct Helpers may use or link to third-party services, including payment providers, analytics services and external websites.
